The Maine-Endwell Spartans upped their record to 2-0 today with a crushing 60-9 victory over the Chenango Valley Warriors at Spartan Stadium in Endwell in a game heard on Newsradio 1290 WNBF.  Fullback Nick Sorrenti scored on a 60-yard run on the second play from scrimmage and the Spartans never looked back.  Speedster Luis Uceta scored three touchdowns including one on a 90-yard punt return to pace the Spartans attack.  He got plenty of help from Sorrenti who notched a 12-yard TD run for his second score of the day and Justin Jacoby who scored one touchdown and added three two-point conversions for the winners.  The Warriors only touchdown came late in the game on a 30-yard run by quarteback Zach Collins.  The Spartans, who are the reigning State Class A Champions, now compete in Class B due to a decrease in school enrollment.  Next Saturday M-E hosts Owego at 130.  That game will also be aired on Newsradio 1290 WNBF.
