Section 4 Powers Roll to Wins
Two Section 4 football powers upped their records to 3-0 Saturday with home victories. At Spartan Stadium in Endwell the M-E Spartans crushed Owego 60-0. Quarterback Kyle Gallagher carried the ball off right tackle and ran 57 yards for the score on the first play from scrimmage to ignite Maine-Endwell's offense as they opened up a 39-0 lead at the half. The Maine-Endwell Spartans upped their record to 2-0 today with a crushing 60-9 victory over the Chenango Valley Warriors at Spartan Stadium in Endwell in a game heard on Newsradio 1290 WNBF.
