Delaware County Fair Offers National Guard Recruiters Available for Questions Today

WALTON– Visitors to the Delaware County Fair will be able to speak to recruiters and soldiers from the New York Army National Guard.

The recruiting display at the fair will include an engineering equipment display and Humvee military vehicle. The New York Army National Guard, with a membership of about 10,500 soldiers, is currently at 100 percent strength.

National Guard Recruiters, though, are continually seeking new soldiers to fill job education opportunities available in units across the state. This is just one on the many things to see and do today in Walton as the Delaware County Fair is in its second.
