The Delaware County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a man and woman found inside a home in Franklin.

The couple is SUNY Delhi professor Willis Brown and his wife Wendy, according to a report by The Daily Star. That same report states deputies are now investigating the case as a possible murder-suicide.

Deputies responded to the Main Street home early Wednesday morning to find the two unresponsive.

Delaware County Deputies are continuing their investigation, with assistance from the State Police Forensic Investigation Unit.

Willis Brown joined the college in 2005 as an engineer who taught electrical instrumentation and controls in the technology division. He was also a graduate of SUNY Oneonta. Wendy Brown was a financial adviser with the Morgan McReynolds Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Oneonta.
