Tractor Trailer Accident in Norwich

The Chenango County Sheriff's office says a 30-year-old Edwardsville, Pennsylvania man was taken to Chenango Memorial Hospital last night and treated for minor injuries after a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Norwich.

According to the Sheriff's office, Joshua Schaller was driving a tractor trailer north on State Highway 8 in the town of Norwich when he lost control of the vehicle at about 6 pm, exited the roadway on the northbound shoulder and overturned. The trailer's roof broke open and a large amount of food items fell into a corn field.

The investigation into the cause of the accident continues.
