The National Weather Service in Binghamton predicts some snowfall over parts of this weekend for our area.

Friday's forecast calls for rain showers on and off throughout the day.  Friday night some parts of our listening area could see an inch of the white stuff, as the temperature drops to about 26 degrees.  On Saturday look for the possibility of another inch of snow, especially in the higher elevations.

According to the NWS:  "Snow squalls are likely during the day Saturday. Gusty winds and short bursts of snow will create brief periods of whiteout conditions across central New York and northeast Pennsylvania. Use caution if traveling Saturday and monitor the weather conditions closely."

On Sunday, Mothers Day, our last touch of winter (hopefully) should be in the rear window and we can expect a partly sunny Sunday with a high temperature about 50 degrees.
