Plymouth Man Arrested for Theft of Fire Department Funds

State Police at Norwich arrested a Plymouth man Tuesday on a charge of felony grand larceny.

25-year-old Andrew B. Cushman was arrested after police were called to the Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department for a reported theft of funds.The investigation determined that Cushman, a member of and treasurer for the fire department, had stolen over $10,000 from the Fire Department's bank accounts.

Cushman was arraigned in Town of Plymouth court and released without bail required.
