The next meeting of the Oneonta City School District Board of Education will be 7 p.m. Wednesday at Riverside Elementary School.

Interim Superintendent David Rowley will be introducing the next series of proposals to help close the budget deficit.

The school district would also like to announce that there will be three seats available on the OCSD Board of Education. Each position offers a three-year term beginning July 1. Voting will take place on Tuesday, May 21.

Petitions are currently available at the office of district clerk Eileen Lishansky, located in the district office at 31 Center Street. Applications for absentee ballots are also now available.
