New York Taxpayers Continue Wait for Refund Check

ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Some New York taxpayers are waiting for refunds -- some reportedly for close to five months.

The Albany Times Union reports problems with the state's handling of paper tax returns have become so widespread that senior staffers have warned tax revenues could suffer because auditors have been diverted to deal with refund processing.
