Irene Stein Endorses DiStefano for Chenango County Judge

Democratic candidate for Chenango County judge Diane DiStefano has announced that she has received the endorsement of Irene Stein, Tompkins County Democratic Committee chair.

Stein also serves as chair of the State Democratic Rural Conference, is a member of Governor Andrew Cuomo’s advisory committee on aging and is a former member of the Democratic National Committee.

Stein said that DiStefano has been a lifelong advocate for justice. From age 23, when she became Guilford town justice, to her successful career in private practice, Stein said DiStefano will be an asset to the bench.

DiStefano will face republican Frank Revoir in the November election. Revoir beat republican candidate Joe McBride in last month's republican primary.
