A procession is to get underway at five o'clock this afternoon. It'll start at the Endwell Fire Station on Country Club Road.

The route will take the beam north along Hooper Road to Highland Park. It will move into the lower park to the Remembrance Garden.

A candlelight service is to be held at 6 p.m.

The procession originally was planned for a year ago to mark the tenth anniversary of the 2001 attacks. It was rescheduled because emergency agencies were busy responding to flood-related calls.

Today's program is sponsored by the Tri-Cities Women's Club and the town of Union.
