Chenango County Courthouse Draws Crowd for 175th Birthday Celebration

Hundreds turned out for the 175th birthday and re-dedication of the Chenango County courthouse in Norwich on Saturday.

Speakers included honorable Jonathon Lippmann, Chief Judge of New York State, honorable Karen Peters, Presiding Judge Appellate Division 3rd Dept., and honorable Michael Caccomo, Deputy Chief Administrator for courts outside NYC.

The featured speaker was Chenango County Supreme Court justice Kevin Dowd, who related some of the history of the courthouse over the past 175 years.
