100 Pounds of Pot Seized in Drug Raid in Sherburne

A month-long investigation by the Chenango County Sheriff's Office resulted in the execution of a search warrant Thursday at the residence of Robert Reynolds on Pleasant Valley Road in Sherburne.

During the search more than 100 pounds of processed marijuana and $36,000 in cash was seized.

The massive quantity of drugs is believed to be the largest single processed marijuana drug bust for the Sheriff's Office in 25 years.

Reynolds is facing several charges, including possession of marijuana. The investigation is continuing.
