
Walton Gets Ready to Vote on School Budget

Walton Central School District Board of Education met Tuesday May 6th for the planned budget hearing.
The proposed budget is approximately $20 million, which is a .56% increase, with a tax levy of 5.49%.
According to School Superintendent Roger Clough, if the budget is rejected by voters on May 20th there are a few options:
Voting on school budgets locally will be held Tuesday May 20th.
