Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest in Deposit

A traffic stop in Deposit, NY resulted in the arrest of a man from Texas who has had his license suspended 18 times. According to New York State Police at Deposit, Nathaniel L. Lavender, age 38 of Sweeny, TX was stopped by a trooper on October 13 for a traffic violation. It was discovered that Lavender has a total of 18 license suspensions and was charged for the felony of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the first degree.

Lavender was released on appearance tickets to the town of Deposit court on November 23.
