American Idol Hopeful Ethan Harris Gives WSRK a Call [Audio][Videos]
This morning, Ethan Harris called in to talk about his audition on American Idol.  Last night he received a "Yes" from each judge.  Before the audition began, he got to share a picture he drew of Keith Urban with the country star.  Urban was flattered and autographed the artwork.  The gold ticket means Ethan is Hollywood bound!

What a great movie this is!  One of my favorite war movies starring one of my favorite actors. It seems like this movie came out much later than 1963.  It has a sophisticated look to it, more like a 1970 film.  The scenery in Germany and Austria is stunning (particularly in the gripping motorcycle chase at the end).  T...

A Big Chuck Movie Review: “SOME LIKE IT HOT(1959)”
Was this the funniest movie ever made?  Many think so (including me!) We all love old television shows.  The stars from the old shows are still vivid to us today...Rob and Laura Petrie ("The Dick Van Dyke Show"), Andy Griffith "Mayberry R.F.D."), Bob Crane ("Hogan's Heroes"),  Barbara Eden ("I Dream of Jeannie") and so many more.

Here is an old movie always worth a second look, "An Affair To Remember."  This stunningly filmed hit starred Cary Grant at his most suave and the always classy Deborah Kerr as doomed lovers destined to never make the ultimate hook-up. Scottish actress Kerr was perhaps the Meryl Streep of her day with one exception...

A Favorite Flick: “How Green Was My Valley (1941)” (VIDEO)
This is one of my all time favorite old flicks.  It came out in 1941 and tells the sweeping story of the lives, loves and losses of a poor Welsh mining community.  The cast is one of the best ever in Hollywood with Donald Crisp as the crusty old Pa walking away with the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for 1941...
