Singer Lynn Anderson, of “Rose Garden” Fame, Dies at 67
Award-winning country singer Lynn Anderson has died.
The singer passed away today at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville where she was being treated for pneumonia. She was 67 years old.
Anderson had legions of fans who have followed her career for more than four decades. Her mega hit "I Never Promised You A Rose Garden" guaranteed her country music immortality. She had 18 Top Ten songs and five Number Ones. She was also a regular on the Lawrence Welk Show.
She will be missed.
