Remembering “The King,” Elvis Presley, Who Died 36 Years Ago Today.

Elvis Presley lives on today with hundreds of songs being played, sung, downloaded and karaoked to death in small bars and pubs around the world.  The King was only 42 when he died.

He of course was a major presence on the Billboard Pop and Rock charts, but also had a significant impact on the world of country music.

His home, Graceland in Memphis, remains one of the biggest celebrity tourist destinations in the country.

Elvis....forever young.
