It was announced today that rapper Lil Wayne has dethroned Elvis Presely as the king of the Billboard charts.  Elvis had held the record for most Billboard appearances at 108 songs.  The rapper beat this on his 30th birthday today.

Many had thought Elvis' record of 108 appearances on the charts was a record that would never be challenged.  If the rapper did this by age thirty, one can only imagine what the future holds for him.

So "the king is dead" as far as number of chart appearances is concerned.  But lets face it...is it even a real match up?

I don't think so.  Take a look...NOBODY BEATS ELVIS!
