Although many have forgetten this classy dame, Juliet Prowse made international history once!

When Russian Premier Nikita Khrushchev visited the U.S. in1959 he went to Hollywood.  There he watched Prowse perform a sexy version of the can-can for the movie of the same name.  The headlines around the world the next day quoted Khrushchev as saying it was a perfect example of America's immoral nature.  I am sure she found the whole incident amusing.

This actress/singer/dancer was one of the era's great beauties and she dated both Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley.  She was born on September 25, 1936 and passed away on September 14, 1996 at the age of 59.
