Possibly a Foot of Snow on the Way Today!

The National Weather Service in Binghamton has just issued a Winter Storm Warning for our listening area.

Between 10 am this morning (Wednesday) and 10 am Thursday morning we can expect 8-12" of snow.  Today it will start with a mix of rain and snow and then turn to all snow in the late afternoon.  Icing of roads can be expected.  Potentially we can expect another 6+ inches of snow over night tonight and maybe 2 inches in the morning/.

Sherburne-Earlville School has already closed this morning.

Overnight temperatures could reach -7.  Wind chills during the day on Thursday could reach -15.....
