Oneonta City-Town Consolidation Presentations

The Greater Oneonta Economic Development Council (GO-EDC) has finalized its schedule of Quadrant Information Forums surrounding the issue of consolidation of the Town and City of Oneonta. GO-EDC introduced the topic at its "bold initiatives" meeting back on December 15th.

To follow are the dates, times and places where consolidation presentations will be held:

• Monday, May 11th, 7:30 to 8:40 PM in the cafetorium of Riverside School for the convenience of resident taxpayers of the City's 6th and 8th Wards and the Town's South side areas.
• Tuesday, May 12th, 7:30 to 8:40 PM in the cafetorium of the Greater Plains School for the convenience of resident taxpayers of the City's 5th and 7th Wards, the Town's West end, Whinney Hill Road and West Oneonta.
• Thursday, May 14, 7:30 to 8:40 PM in the Valleyview Street School cafetorium for the convenience of taxpayer residents of City's East-end and 1st Ward, along with Emmons, Angel Heights, Cemetery Hill Road in the Town.
• Monday, May 18th, 7:30 to 8:40 PM in the Oneonta Middle School cafeteria for the convenience of taxpayer residents of the City's 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wards as well as Town areas north of the City off of East and West Street.
