Delaware County Man Inducted into State Veterans Hall of Fame

State Senator James Seward paid tribute Tuesday to Kenneth Taylor of Franklin as a 2013 inductee to the New York State Senate Veterans Hall of Fame.

During his career as a Vietnam-era soldier, Sergeant Taylor served as team leader of six-man long range reconnaissance patrols in Vietnam.

Emerald Ash Borer Found in Delaware, Otsego Counties

The emerald ash borer continues to spread across upstate New York.

The Department of Environmental Conservation says the ash tree-killing insect has been confirmed for the first time in Delaware and Otsego counties, near the village of Unadilla. It was reported by a logger working in a private woodlot.
