Jr. Iron Chef Contest Draws Hundreds to SUNY Cobleskill (PHOTOS)
Hundreds attended Saturday's Jr. Iron Chef competition at SUNY Cobleskill. Culinary middle school students from 8 Upstate counties vied for the title of top Jr. Iron Chef 2019.
WDOS's own Big Chuck was one of six competition judges. Hundreds of parents, supporters and visitors cheered the teams on as they cooked, cut, boiled, washed, fried and assembled their entries in the SUNY Cobleskill industrial kitchen. They raced against the clock and followed strict rules. Competition parts included oral presentations, exhibit displays, food content and attractiveness and more.
