It’s Adoption Day in Delaware County

This Friday morning is a big day for eight families in Delaware County. The Delaware County Social Services will be celebrating their second Adoption Day for this year.

Social services commissioner of Delaware County, William Moon, says the events start at 9:15 a.m.

Moon says they look forward to a joyous and uplifting occasion, that it seems very fitting for the season to celebrate these new families as this will be their first Christmas together.

The Adoption Day celebration will be in the board room at the Delaware County office building at 111 Main Street in Delhi.
