Delaware County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Amanda and Anthony Pervost on charges of endangering the welfare of a child. Deputies were responding to a reported domestic dispute. Anthony Pervost was later re-arrested and is facing an additional charge of harassment.
Otsego County Deputies arrested Jake Schermerhorn on charges of endangering the welfare of a child, intent to damage property and harassment. The 38-year-old Richfield Springs man was arrested following an investigation into a domestic dispute.
Gregory Weider, a Roman Catholic priest who served in Margaretville and Andes, has been named as “credibly accused” of sexual abuse against minors. The Albany Diocese said Weider, 85-years-old, was removed from public ministry last year following allegations child abuse.
Agbaje Surajudeen was arrested by Delaware Deputies and is facing multiple charges. The 56-year-old resident of Trenton, NJ is accused of driving with a suspended license and blocking traffic on Main Street in the Village of Delhi.
State police arrested Marcos Parker and charged him with driving a vehicle with a false license plate and speeding. Parker is a 21-year-old living in Binghamton. The incident occurred in Deposit. He is scheduled to appear in Deposit Town Court on June 13th.
37-year-old Leonardo Cordero of Middletown was arrested on May 14th and charged with intentionally damaging property during a domestic dispute and criminal mischief. Cordero is scheduled to answer the charges in Town of Middletown Court.
