Chenango, Delaware and Otsego County COVID-19 Update

As COVID-19 confirmed cases continue to decline across New York State according to the Department of Health, local county cases are also declining. The Otsego County Department of Health reports 65 confirmed coronavirus cases with 57 recovered. There have been 5 deaths in Otsego County from the coronavirus. Delaware County Public Health is reporting 73 confirmed coronavirus cases with four deaths. Chenango County has a total of 133 positive COVID-19 cases with 92 listed as recovered. 5 people died in that county from the coronavirus.

Staying at home when possible, social distancing, wearing masks in public, and proper handwashing are key ingredients in limiting the spread of the virus.
