Jeffrey A. McGough, 18, turned himself into to state police this week. McGough is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of 21-year-old Connor Delaney in the Town of Richmondville.

New York State troopers arrested Kenneth A. Carson, 37, on April 10th and charged him with multiple felonies. He allegedly attempted a break-in of a Springfield home. An investigation found Carson in possession of “ghost” guns, weapons without serial numbers, a home-made machine gun, and other weapons.
During April, NYSP will be participating in National Distracted Driving Awareness Month. The crackdown will include increased patrol and checkpoints targeting drivers using electronic devices. The enhanced enforcement will run through April 11th.
