A woman working at an independent boarding home for the disabled is accused of charging thousands of dollars on a stolen credit card.

Broome County Sheriff’s officials say 26 year old Tiffany Farinha of Binghamton is charged with felony grand larceny, accused of charging over $9,000 on the stolen card.

Farinha worked at the facility that was run from her mother’s Pulaski Street Home in the Town of Dickinson.

The investigation is continuing.

Investigators say anyone with family members that were living at the home that may have information is being asked to contact Detective Deborah Phelps at (607) 778-2334.

Farinha is being held in the Broome County Jail without bail.
