It's been such a long time coming...entertainment once again being offered since March of 2020, when the coronavirus pandemic began. Even though my children are young adults now, I fondly remember when my husband and I brought them to see the Catskill Puppet Theater perform during First Night Oneonta events over the years. I always felt lucky that little Oneonta could have such highly professional puppet entertainment and I thoroughly enjoyed sharing that with my children on many occasions.

Catskill Puppet Theater has been around, touring internationally since 1979 with Carol Mandigo and John Potocnik as the co-founders. You may be familiar with Carol's work with crafting puppets since she has spear-headed creating the magnificent giant puppets we all have enjoyed over the years in a variety of Oneonta parades.
