Get your Santa hat ready and your jingle bells because this weekend in Oneonta promises to be filled with plenty of holiday cheer thanks to Destination Oneonta. Townsquare Media is proud to be one of the sponsors for these DO holiday events. The schedule this year has changed from years past so pay attention and get ready to enjoy a weekend of free, fun, family activities. See the schedule below...

December 3rd:
Gingerbread Jubilee Contest Drop Off - 3 pm to 6 pm at the Foothills Atrium.  The theme this year is a tropical one: "Deck The Palms". CLICK HERE for details, rules, and registration. The gingerbread entries can be viewed on December 4 from 11 am to 2 pm at Foothills. Don't forget to vote for your favorite creation!

Festival of Trees - from 5 pm to 7 pm come check out beautifully decorated trees in the Production Room at Foothills Performing Arts Center. All trees have been decorated by a variety of businesses and organizations to be given away in a raffle drawing. You can win a tree if you participate in the drawings.

December 4th:
Home for the Holidays Parade
- Line Up Elm St. at 9 am with the parade stepping off at 10 am on Oneonta's Main Street. Look for me (Leslie Ann) in the Townsquare Media vehicle.

Festival of Trees - from 11 am to 2 pm, come check out beautifully decorated trees in the Production Room at Foothills Performing Arts Center.

Gingerbread Jubilee - The gingerbread entries can be viewed from 11 am to 2 pm at Foothills. Don't forget to vote for your favorite creation!

December 9th: 
Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony - 5:30 pm to -7:30 pm on Oneonta's Main Street. Main events will take place in Muller Plaza.  The tree lights up at 6 pm. There will be activities, horse and wagon rides, and Santa will visit with children in his cottage in the plaza. If you can't make it out to the tree lighting, the ceremony will be live-streamed on the Destination Oneonta Facebook page.
