Arts Grants Available For Local Communities and Individuals

The Chenango Arts Council has grants available for cultural programs in Chenango, Otsego and Broome counties.

The grants are for up to $5,000 through the 2014 Decentralization Program which offers support for community arts education. The Community Arts grants are for arts and cultural projects by community groups and individuals partnering with a local non-profit, while the Arts Education grants support groups or individuals engaging public school children in artistic learning experiences.

The deadline to apply for an Arts Education grant is December 11th, while Community Arts grants must be applied for by January 8th. For current guidelines and an application visit the Chenango Arts Council online or call 607-336-27-87.
