The Catskill Mountains Film Festival has announced that screen and stage actor, Bill Pullman, has signed on as the Honorary Chairperson of the first annual festival.

Born in Hornell, New York, Bill Pullman attended both SUNY Delhi and SUNY Oneonta. He also taught theater at SUNY Delhi before embarking on a successful acting career.

The film festival is jointly sponsored by SUNY Delhi and the Greater Delhi Chamber of Commerce, and will be held May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th of May on the SUNY Delhi campus.

The mission of the festival is to promote the film business in New York state, to showcase local talent, and to develop a new generation of local filmmakers. They will be accepting submissions in several categories until March 21st.

Bill Pullman got right to work, making a promotional video encouraging people to enter their film projects.
