The Delhi American Legion post in Delaware County is reaching out to veterans, and reminding people of the benefits of membership and the services they offer.

CNY News' Ron Galley recently spoke with the newly appointed commander of the Delhi post, Ed McGrath, and Delaware County Sheriff, Tom Mills.

In the face of dwindling membership, the Legion is attempting to reach out to younger people. With much of their membership constituting Vietnam veterans, they would particularly like to be of assistance and support to veterans of more recent military engagements.

The interesting conversation can be heard in full here:

Ed McGrath can be contacted at the Delhi post through the email address: post190@aol.com or contact your local American Legion for information on the benefits of membership.
