August 1 Deadline Set for New Berlin Main Street Grant Program

The New Berlin Main Street Grant Selection Committee is asking eligible New Berlin property owners to be aware that an August 1 deadline has been set for reviewing and submitting project applications.

Local program administrator, Development Chenango Corporation reports that several meetings have been held since the grant was awarded last December, but no project applications have been formally submitted to the organization for the 25 percent/75 percent matching grant program.

A Main Street Grant of $250,000 was awarded to the village in December to renovate the historical downtown area. For assistance with an application, contact Rebecca Sands at 334-1401.
