Think you ate too much this Independence Day?

You’ve probably heard by now that Joey Chestnut smashed his own record when he wolfed down 69 franks in 10 minutes to win the annual Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating contest on Thursday in New York’s Coney Island. You can watch the video above if you missed out on this culinary feat.

It was his seventh consecutive title. For his efforts, Chestnut took in more than 20,000 calories, almost 2,000 grams of and nearly 50,000 milligrams of sodium. Someone grab the Pepto-Bismol.

If you’re wondering, the women’s title went to Sonja Thomas, who devoured nearly 37 hot dogs. She’s won each contest in the women’s field, since it began in 2011.

Now, if you'll excuse us, we're going to eat a salad.
