You Can Help Tragic Local Tornado Victims Here

It was the rarest of all phenomena.  A tornado whipsawing through a small rural Upstate community.  In its wake it left four dead and much destruction.  The hamlet of Smithfield, Madison County, not an hour away from our listening area, is reeling.

A fund drive is now underway to help the victims, which included mother Kim and her 4-month old baby, Paris.  Having just had a little grandson a couple of months ago, I find the photograph of this smiling child almost unbearable to look at.
