We had a lot of fun last week on my show talking about famous New York State foods:  Beef on Weck (Buffalo), Cold Cheese Pizza (Oneonta),  Dinosaur ribs (Syracuse), Chobani Greek yougurt (Edmeston), Brooks BBQ (Oneonta), Spiedies (Binghamton), the Garbage Plate (Rochester) and hot wings (Buffalo).  And many more.

In fact our post about Half Moon cookies received more than 700 views!

A lot of people mentioned Chicken Riggies.  Apparantly they are a Utica based Italian dish.  Many mentioned that they eat this dish at the New York State Fair in Syracuse each year.

Somehow I have missed this dish.  Have you ever heard of or tried a Chicken Riggie?  I think the basic concoction is a chicken/rigatoni mix.  Any idea where I can get a good taste of this my next time in Utica?

Any help?
