The Delaware County Sheriff's office has arrested a Walton man and charged him in the shooting deaths of two Siberian Huskies.

The bodies of “Kodah” and “Mush” were discovered Friday afternoon by a resident walking along Finch Hollow Road in the Town of Tompkins. The resident reported the discovery to the Sheriff’s Office, setting off an investigation.

Jared Boice, 34, has been charged with two counts of cruelty to animals, a class A misdemeanor. Boice will appear in the Town of Tompkins Court at a later date.

The dogs had been missing since February.
