United Way Bowl-A-Thon Rolls A Strike! $7,700!!!!!

What a great time at the United Way Bowl-A-Thon!  I hadn't bowled in more than 30 years. It all came back, right after the first ball.  My games were 123, 128 and 140!  I think I was the only one who got better as the day went on!

George Wells (center) threw several great games and Pat Coleman (right) was hot.  I heard John Hayen. who was somewhere else in the alleys, did himself proud too!

I reached all of my three goals:  I didn't roll a gutter, I got a strike (I actually rolled 4 of them in three games) and I didn't split my pants!

But, boy my thumbs hurt.  In fact I think I rolled one of my thumbs right off my hand!
