TV’s “J.R. Ewing” Dies! Actor Larry Hagman Was 81!

Actor Larry Hagman has died at age 81.  He was a beloved figure on television for more than forty years.  He gained initial TV fame on "I Dream of Jeannie."  Years later he essayed the biggest and baddest man on the small screen.  His conniving oilman J.R.Ewing led "Dallas" to a ratings bonanza for more than a decade.

Hagman died of complications of throat cancer.
