Right now the fair is doing a fundraiser involving giving away a golf cart. See the Otsego County Fair, Morris NY facebook page for details.
Meanwhile in Delaware County, fair officials are in the planning stages of bringing the Walton fair back this August and posted the following message on The Delaware County Fair-Walton, NY facebook page on Feb. 28:
At tonight’s meeting of the board of directors it was agreed that we will continue to move forward as we have in planning the 133rd Delaware County Fair. We will work our hardest to have the fair August 16-21, 2021! We would like to remind everyone that we are still at the mercy of state and local officials and if it’s deemed we cannot open we must comply. We ask that you all cross your fingers and toes and hope that with the good lord willing and the covid rates don’t rise we can get back to normal and see you all in August!
Because of last year's fair cancellation, the Delaware County Fair is also doing a fundraiser with a tractor giveaway. Visit www.facebook.com/DelCountyFair for details.
