GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (AP) — Jennie Mattison, who admitted helping cover up the killing of her 5-year-old son, has been sentenced to 1 to 3 years in a shock incarceration program.

Anthony McCool, 29, from Walton, will be back in the village of Walton Court on Tuesday.

Alexander Vega, 22, of the Bronx, was arrested for allegedly selling heroin in August and September 2011 in the city of Oneonta. The arrest comes as a result of Operation Dial Tone, which is a joint narcotics investigation into the heroin distribution from the Bronx into Otsego County.
