Binghamton Residents Charged with First Degree Robbery
State police arrested two Binghamton residents Friday in connection with a robbery in the Village of Afton early Thursday morning.
Scott G. Frost, 28, and Arianna M. Michalski, 22, were charged with first-degree robbery. The two are accused of robbing the Xtra Mart in Afton taking property and an undetermined amount of cash.The two were arrested at the Super 8 Motel in Kirkwood.
Two other subjects in the room, Shane J. Jasak, 25, and Emily A. Shaver, 23, were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance seventh degree and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle. Frost was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
Jasak and Shaver were arraigned in Town of Dickinson court and remanded to the Broome County Jail on $1,000 bail. Frost and Michalski were arraigned in Afton Town Court and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility, Frost, without bail and Michalski on $25,000 bail. The investigation is ongoing.
