SUNY Oneonta Specialist Receives State Certification

SUNY Oneonta Employee Services personnel assistant Tracy Hartwell achieved certification as a NYS Civil Service Classification Specialist. Tracy attended many hours of training and testing leading to this certification. Having a certified specialist allows SUNY Oneonta to establish positions in hundreds of agency specific and interdepartmental titles without prior review by the NYS Civil Service Division of Classification & Compensation which reduces the time to bring employees onboard.
