SUNY Oneonta Lecture to Focus on Afro-Mexican History

SUNY Oneonta continues its Ralph Watkins Lecture Series today with a talk by Dr. Ben Vinson III, provost of Case Western Reserve University entitled “Afro-Mexicans and Their History: A Personal Journey” It takes place at 6:30 p.m. in in Craven Lounge at the Morris Conference Center. Dr. Vinson is an accomplished historian of Latin America, and joined Johns Hopkins in 2006 as a professor of history and founding director of its Center for Africana Studies.
