Deadline Approaches to Get Your NYS REAL ID

New York residents have less than a year to upgrade their driver licenses so they can still be used to board an aircraft or enter a federal building. Beginning October 1, 2020 a REAL ID will be needed or else a passport will be required. The REAL ID driver license can be obtained by bringing proof of identity, proof of social security number and two proofs of residency. Fees apply.
