SUNY Oneonta’s COVID-19 Response Team revealed plans for the Spring 2021 semester during a pair of online town halls held last week. The team found that it will be necessary to implement a hybrid online and in-person class system and also determined that in-person classes are universally not found to cause the spread of the coronavirus so long as effective measures are incorporated such as frequent COVID-19 testing and a zero tolerance code of conduct.

Provost and COVID Response Team co-chair Leamor Kahanov says, "Creating an environment for successful learning and engagement is an institution-wide effort. The greater Oneonta community will be able to see our good work firsthand in documents and videos on the Team’s website.”
