According to SUNY Oneonta, the faculty lit 1,215 candles to represent the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Otsego at that time. Some SUNY Oneonta faculty attended to show their great concern over SUNY Oneonta's plan to reopen for in-person classes for the spring semester. They feel the plan is unrealistic and won't protect them and the community from the virus.
