Student Tests Positive For COVID-19: Oxford Academy Remains Open

Oxford Academy officials report a student tested positive for the coronavirus. The individual was last in class on Oct. 13 for part of the day. Oxford is on a hybrid system where classes are split between online and in-person. Officials say they are working with Chenango County Public Health to identify through contact tracing protocols, any student or staff member who may be at high risk of exposure. There’s been no change to class schedules.
